Find the dead links on your site

Free broken link checker — paste any page URL and get every dead link, redirect, and error in seconds. No sign-up, no download.

Honest note: the free check scans up to 100 same-origin links found in the page's HTML. It does not see links rendered by JavaScript, and it does not check external links. What it reports is the live HTTP status of each link, checked just now — nothing faked, nothing cached.

How it works

Paste a URL. Any public page on your site — a blog post, a docs page, your homepage.
We fetch it server-side. Our checker reads the page's HTML, pulls out its same-origin links (up to 100), and requests each one to get its real HTTP status.
You get the list. Broken links first (4xx/5xx), then redirects (3xx), then the healthy ones. Fix the broken ones, clean up the redirects.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a broken link?

Any link that returns a 4xx or 5xx HTTP status — most commonly 404 Not Found. Redirects (3xx) still work, but they slow visitors down and leak SEO value, so we list them separately.

Why do links break?

Pages get deleted or renamed, sites restructure without redirects, and linked pages move. Every redesign and every deleted post creates dead links unless redirects are added.

How often should I check?

After every redesign, migration, or bulk content cleanup — and at least monthly. Links rot quietly; most site owners only notice when a visitor complains.

Do you check the whole site?

The free tool checks one page at a time. Whole-site scheduled crawls with alerts, history, and CSV export are coming as a paid monitoring plan — join the waitlist below.

Do you store what I check?

No. Checked URLs and results are not stored. Only waitlist email addresses are stored, to notify you at launch.

Site monitoring is coming
